Mobile M&E Engineer

We are seeking a reliable and multi-skilled Mobile Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineer to join a thriving and fast-paced hospitality-focused maintenance contract. You'll be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of restaurants, bars, and hospitality venues across London and the Home Counties.

This is an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys variety, independence, and working within customer-facing environments. With door-to-door pay, a fully equipped van, and bags of overtime available, this role offers excellent earning potential and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out PPMs and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of high-end and high-footfall hospitality venues (restaurants, pubs, bars, clubs).

Diagnose and repair faults across a range of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.

Respond to emergency call-outs and urgent repair jobs with professionalism and efficiency.

Maintain and repair air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), pumps, valves, and pipework.

Support ventilation and heating systems, including pressurisation units and water heaters.
Assist with basic refrigeration system checks and HVAC troubleshooting.

Conduct basic fault finding and repairs on electrical systems including lighting, power supplies, and small distribution boards.

Replace lamps, ballasts, sockets, switches, and address safety issues promptly.

Complete emergency lighting and fire alarm tests where required.

Respond to blockages, leaks, faulty taps, traps, and toilets.

Carry out minor plumbing works such as washer replacements, flush mechanisms, and pipework fixes.

Maintain strong client relationships on site, working discreetly and professionally in live hospitality environments.

Clearly communicate updates, ETAs, and completed works to site managers or general managers.
Promote a can-do attitude and act as a brand ambassador for the companys.
