Job Title: Site Assistant – Large-Scale Solar Farm
Location: Stevenage, UK (on-site)
Salary: £24,000 – £32,000 + Overtime
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Company Overview

We are representing a leading renewable energy company delivering utility-scale solar projects across the UK. With continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are looking to add a proactive and reliable Site Assistant to support the construction of a major solar farm in Stevenage.

Role Overview

As a Site Assistant, you will play a key supporting role across the day-to-day operations of the site. You will assist the site management team with logistics, documentation, coordination, and basic site duties. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within the renewable energy industry, gain site experience, and contribute to a landmark energy project.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, organised, and open to relocation for future projects once this one is completed.

Key Responsibilities

* Support site management with day-to-day coordination and admin tasks

* Help with deliveries, inventory, and storage of site materials

* Maintain documentation and assist in compiling reports and site records

* Assist with logistics planning and subcontractor coordination

* Perform general site duties, including cleanliness and setup

* Conduct basic HSE checks and help implement safety protocols

* Communicate effectively with the broader site team to support smooth operations

Requirements

* Previous experience in a construction or renewable energy site environment (preferred)

* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

* Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks

* Good communication and teamwork skills – Itallian speaking highly desired.

* CSCS card (preferred)

* Full UK driving licence

* Flexibility to work overtime and relocate after project completion
