Job Title: Electrical Supervisor – Large-Scale Solar Farm
Location: Stevenage, UK (on-site)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 + Overtime
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Relocation: Required upon project completion
Company Overview
We are working with a leading renewable energy company delivering utility-scale solar projects across the UK. Known for quality, safety, and rapid growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support the construction and commissioning of a major solar farm in Stevenage.
Role Overview
As the Electrical Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical works on site, ensuring that installations meet required standards, are completed safely, and remain on schedule. You will lead and coordinate electricians and subcontractors while working closely with the Site Manager and Project Team.
The successful candidate must be happy working extended hours during peak phases and be open to relocation once the project is complete.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate electrical installation teams on-site
* Ensure electrical works are completed in accordance with design specifications and safety regulations
* Carry out inspections and quality checks on installed equipment
* Work with the Site Manager to plan and sequence works
* Support testing, commissioning and energisation of systems
* Maintain daily records, site reports and handover documentation
* Conduct toolbox talks and ensure all teams follow HSE procedures
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and technical staff
Requirements
* Experience in electrical supervision on utility-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of solar PV systems and associated electrical components
* Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, ECS/CSCS card)
* SSSTS or SMSTS (preferred)
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Flexibility to work overtime and relocate after project completion
