About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing a team of electricians and ensuring all electrical work is delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This is a field-based role with a focus on sites primarily located across North London.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily workflow and task allocation for the electrical team, providing technical guidance and resolving on-site issues.
Collaborate with office-based staff to ensure project deadlines, documentation, and feedback loops are maintained.
Oversee materials planning, including vehicle stock, booking, and timely replenishment.
Lead by example on Health & Safety compliance, ensuring the safe use of tools, ladders, and equipment across your team.
Supervise and perform electrical testing, inspections, remedial works, and fault diagnosis in accordance with BS-7671.
Conduct post-work inspections, quality audits, and ensure accurate reporting, certification, and waste management.
Promote and embed a positive, performance-focused culture across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent NVQ Level 3
City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Inspection & Testing
Certification in BS7671 (18th Edition) with minimum 2 years' testing & inspection experience
Valid CSCS or ECS card
Full clean UK driving licence (manual)
Minimum 8 years of proven experience as an electrician
Excellent leadership, team coordination, and communication skills
Strong commitment to health & safety compliance and site procedures
Proficient with digital tools including tablets and work management apps
Desirable:
Previous experience within the social housing sector
IPAF and PASMA certification
First Aid qualification
