Salary: up to £50 k per annum

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee and manage on-site teams delivering passive fire protection works across a portfolio of client sites. Operating predominantly in North London, this field-based role involves ensuring all site activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry regulations and client expectations. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards across health and safety, quality, and performance, while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

Oversee daily site operations related to passive fire protection (fire stopping, cavity barriers, fire doors, etc.)

Ensure compliance with BS 476, BS EN 1366, and FIRAS/third-party accreditation standards

Enforce site safety procedures, conduct risk assessments, and monitor method statement compliance

Supervise operatives and subcontractors; coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders

Serve as the primary on-site contact for housing associations, managing client expectations professionally

Maintain accurate site records, including site diaries, QA documentation, fire-stopping reports, and progress updates

Conduct site inspections to ensure quality standards and sign-off requirements are met

Manage deliveries, materials handling, and waste disposal in line with project requirements

Proactively identify issues and implement effective, timely solutions

Promote a positive, performance-driven culture on site

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Experience identifying and assessing fire stopping, fire doors, and compartmentation

Strong knowledge of passive fire protection systems and building construction

Valid CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred)

Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification

Full UK manual driving licence

Health and safety-focused approach

Excellent communication and team coordination skills

Confident using digital tools (e.g., tablets and work management software)

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a construction, electrical, or fire safety-related role

Desirable:

Experience working in the social housing sector

PASMA qualification

First Aid certification

FIRAS, BM TRADA, or similar third-party accreditation experience

NVQ Level 3 or above in Construction or Passive Fire Protection

Asbestos Awareness certification
