A Chartered Surveying and Property Consultancy with offices nationwide is seeking an APC driven, Assistant Building Surveyor to join their growing London team.

Based in a great office in the West End, this is a perfect opportunity for a second-jobber, with a years’ experience or more, to gain exposure to the full array of building surveying responsibilities, whilst being mentored and supported by highly experienced, senior surveyors.

The Assistant Building Surveyor’s role

The successful Assistant Building Surveyor will work closely with a Director and Senior Building Surveyor, carrying out a mixture of project and professional services on residential, commercial, education and retail projects across London and the South.

The goal is for the Assistant Building Surveyor to provide support initially – working alongside 2 other Assistants – before taking on greater responsibility on projects, all with the main objective of helping to achieve MRICS. There is very clear career progression post-chartership.

The Assistant Building Surveyor

* Completed a Building Surveying degree

* Minimum of 12 months Building Surveying experience

* Worked within a private practice / construction consultancy environment

* Happy to work from a Central London office

* Eager to achieve MRICS

* Strong communication skills
