Project Manager
Our client are a specialist electrical contractor providing design-and-build services across sectors such as commercial, education, and healthcare. They handle everything from planning and installation to testing and maintenance.
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to add a Project Manager to their team.
In this role, you will manage electrical and mechanical projects from planning to completion, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery. You'll coordinate site teams, maintain safety compliance, manage budgets and procurement, and serve as the main client contact while overseeing technical documentation.

Competitive day rate of £370-£400
All reasonable expenses covered.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of electrical and associated mechanical works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
Coordinate site activities, labour, subcontractors, and suppliers, maintaining compliance with H&S, RAMS, and industry regulations.
Lead project planning tasks, including tenders, costings, programmes, procurement schedules, and client reporting.
Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, and site teams to ensure clear communication, issue resolution, and project progression.
Interpret and produce technical drawings, including coordinated M&E layouts using AutoCAD or similar platforms.
Conduct site surveys and technical assessments, identifying risks, constraints, and opportunities for value engineering.
Manage procurement and financial processes, including ordering, approving invoices, cost tracking, and applications for payment.
Prepare and submit project documentation, such as O&M manuals, RFIs, and commissioning paperwork to required standards.Role Requirements:
Proven experience managing electrical and mechanical construction projects, delivering on time, within budget, and meeting client specifications.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessments (RAMS), and site compliance requirements.
Proficiency in project planning, including tender preparation, cost estimation, scheduling, procurement coordination, and client communication.
Ability to read, interpret, and produce coordinated mechanical and electrical technical drawings, preferably using AutoCAD or similar software.
Experience in managing procurement and financial processes, including ordering, invoice approval, cost control, and preparing project documentation such as O&M manuals and commissioning reports.*Please be aware this job description is a general overview and subject to change as per our clients' needs
