Architect (Part 3 Qualified) – Leisure, Commercial and High End Residential – Central London

We are currently partnering with an international Tier 2 Main Contractor with over 400 years of construction experience and over 50 years’ experience construction in Europe. Due to their continued growth, they are currently seeking an Architect to join their London arm to contribute to their further development.

Responsibilities

* Technical Coordination & Design Delivery:

Lead the production and coordination of technical design packages (RIBA Stages 3–5), ensuring buildability, compliance with planning conditions, and integration with MEP and structural elements.

* Contractor-Side Design Management:

Act as a key architectural liaison within the contractor’s delivery team, reviewing and managing consultants’ drawings, ensuring alignment with the construction programme, and resolving design queries on-site.

* Client & Consultant Engagement:

Attend design team meetings with clients, consultants, and suppliers. Translate client requirements into coordinated design solutions that reflect quality expectations and comply with project constraints.

* Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:

Ensure all design and site activities comply with Building Regulations, planning permissions, fire strategy, access requirements, and other statutory obligations (e.g. BREEAM, Part M, and Part L).

* Site Support & Quality Assurance:

Provide architectural input during construction, including reviewing shop drawings, conducting site inspections, and supporting the resolution of technical issues. Uphold design intent through finishes and detailing reviews.

Requirements

Must be Part 3 qualified

Must have 3-5 years post qualification experience

Must have degree-level qualification

Benefits

£65,000 – £70,000 DOE + Benefits
