Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Site Manager to oversee refurbishment projects within the social housing sector across North London. The role involves managing passive fire protection works, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations, and maintaining high standards of health and safety on-site.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily site operations related to passive fire protection, including fire stopping, fire door installations, and compartmentation works.

Ensure all works comply with relevant fire safety regulations and standards, such as BS 9999 and the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Manage site teams and subcontractors, providing clear direction and ensuring productivity.
*
Conduct site inspections and audits to verify that all installations meet the required standards.
*
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, reporting on project progress and resolving any issues.
*
Implement and enforce site health and safety policies, conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits.
*
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, safety documentation, and compliance checklist.
Candidate Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager within the passive fire protection sector, particularly in social housing refurbishments.
*
SMSTS certification is essential; FIRAS or equivalent third-party accreditation is preferred.
*
Strong understanding of fire stopping, fire compartmentation, and fire door installation.
*
Ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
*
Up-to-date understanding of fire safety legislation, building regulations, and industry standards.
*
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
*
Full UK driving license required
