Assistant Project Manager
Due to our clients growing project portfoliO, we are looking for a driven Assistant Construction Project Manager to support our team on-site and contribute to the successful delivery of commercial builds.
The Role:
As an Assistant Construction Project Manager, you will work closely with the Project Manager and site teams to coordinate and oversee various aspects of the construction process. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in commercial projects who is looking to take the next step in their construction management career.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and delivery of commercial construction projects.

Monitor site progress, attend meetings, and maintain communication with contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
*
Help manage schedules, budgets, and documentation to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
*
Support health and safety compliance, conducting regular site inspections and assisting in the implementation of safety procedures.
*
Assist with quality control, procurement tracking, and reporting on project performance.
*
Help resolve day-to-day issues on-site, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication across teams.
Requirements:
*
Experience working on commercial construction projects such i.e. Data Centres, Airports, Rail, Hospitals, Prisons etc
*
A relevant qualification such as a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or an NVQ Level 6 (or higher) in Construction Site Management or Construction Contracting Operations Management.
*
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
*
A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
*
Familiarity with construction documentation, schedules, and project management tools.
*
CSCS card and relevant health and safety certifications are desirable.
