We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim Programme Manager to join a progressive Housing Association's Capital Delivery team. This key leadership role will oversee the delivery of a varied programme of investment works across domestic properties – from major refurbishment and renovations to complex repairs, repurposing, and compliance-led projects.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, manage and motivate a multidisciplinary team, and ensure delivery remains aligned with safety, budget, and customer service expectations.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire a team of c.12 professionals delivering capital works
Manage multiple projects covering renovation, retrofit, conversion, and compliance
Ensure robust programme planning, delivery, risk management, and reporting
Oversee significant capital and revenue budgets, including funding applications
Uphold health & safety, compliance, and regulatory standards
Foster a high-performing, data-led, customer-focused team culture
Drive continuous improvement in service delivery through systems and innovation
✅ What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in programme or capital delivery management in housing or property sectors
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent understanding of compliance, H&S, and housing regulations
Ability to manage complex budgets, delivery plans, and stakeholder relationships
Strong organisational, communication, and decision-making abilities
Able to commit to 2-3 days on-site per week (hybrid working)
