CDM Principal Designer

An expanding engineering consultancy based in London is looking to appoint a Principal Designer to support its rapidly growing CDM service line. The Principal Designer will have a direct line into senior leadership, offering fast-tracked career development opportunities and the chance to shape the future of the consultancy's design safety services.

The Principal Designer's role

The appointed Principal Designer will work on a variety of engineering-led developments across London and the surrounding area. From the outset, the Principal Designer will be involved in client engagement, pre-construction planning, and leading on CDM compliance and design risk management.

The Principal Designer

Minimum 3 years in a CDM, Principal Designer or H&S design role (required)
Background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or similar design-based discipline (Preferred)
NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (required)
TechIOSH or above (preferred)
APS Membership (preferred)
Strong knowledge of the CDM 2015 Regulations and experience of design risk managementIn Return?

* Salary between £50,000 – £55,000
