Irwin and Colton are excited to announce that we have been engaged by a leading material reuse and recycling specialist to recruit for a geoenvironmental engineer to join into a growing and developing team. The role will involve overseeing land remediation and earthworks across a diverse portfolio of sustainable land regeneration projects.
The key responsibilities of the Geoenvironmental engineer include:
Conduct tests and collect data on contaminated land and earthwork projects.
Conduct site visits and audits to oversee land remediation works.
Liaise with contractors, clients and key regulatory bodies such as the environment agency on a frequent basis.The successful Geoenvironmental engineer will have:
Proven experience in a similar role ideally with a background in waste management or experience working with contaminated land.
An environmental, geoenvironmental or earth sciences related degree, and ideally holds a WAMITAB certificate.
A positive and enthusiastic approach, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
