Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Commercial Gas Safe Engineer to carry out the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial gas systems across a range of properties. The ideal candidate will hold current Gas Safe registration with relevant commercial certifications and demonstrate strong technical and problem-solving skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of commercial heating and gas systems in line with regulatory standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on commercial gas appliances, boilers, and heating systems.

Install and commission commercial gas systems in accordance with current regulations and manufacturer guidelines.

Diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely.

Complete and maintain accurate service records, gas safety certificates, and job documentation.
*
Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and attend call-outs as required.
*
Ensure compliance with Gas Safe regulations, health and safety standards, and client-specific protocols.
*
Liaise with clients, building occupants, and contractors in a professional and courteous manner.
*
Participate in ongoing training and keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Qualifications & Certifications:
*
Current Gas Safe registration with valid Commercial Gas qualifications.
*
NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, Gas Engineering, or related discipline (preferred).
*
Valid UK driving licence (essential).
*
CSCS card (preferred).
Experience & Skills:
*
Solid knowledge of commercial boiler systems, plant rooms, HVAC systems, and associated controls.
*
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
*
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
*
Good communication and customer service abilities.
*
Capable of working independently and managing workload efficiently.
