Senior Quantity Surveyor
Our leading commercial consultancy client are seeking experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors to join their growing Ireland/Northern Ireland teams on a permanent basis, initially working with an end client in Dublin.
Our client specialises in delivering high-level commercial, contractual, and cost consultancy services to major infrastructure clients, with a strong presence in the water and utilities sector across the United Kingdom.
This is a client-facing position, ideal for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong NEC experience and a multi-discipline background. You'll provide full commercial lifecycle support across procurement, contract administration, cost control, and strategic advisory, embedded within a high-performing consultancy team.
Responsibilities
Lead QS services across multi-discipline projects in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Deliver pre- and post-contract commercial management using NEC form of contract
Support procurement strategy development and tender evaluation.
Manage valuations, change control, risk assessments, and forecasting.
Act as a key commercial advisor to end clients and represent the consultancy at senior stakeholder level.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and governance frameworks.
Skills/experience/qualifications
Ideally 5-7 years' experience in quantity surveying/commercial management roles.
Proven infrastructure experience, ideally within water, wastewater, energy, or utilities sectors.
Strong working knowledge of NEC
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (RICS/MRICS preferred).
Comfortable working in a client-facing consultancy environment.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to travel regionally as needed.
