About the Company:

We are currently working with a one of the UK’s most established Tier 1 property services companies, recognised for delivering exceptional construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects across public and private sectors. We are looking to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to play a key commercial role across multiple projects, working within a professional and collaborative team environment based in Redditch.

The Role:

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of projects – from procurement through to final account. You will work closely with operational teams, clients, and the supply chain to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage project budgets and monitor cost performance

* Prepare valuations, forecasts, and detailed cost reports

* Procure and manage subcontractor packages

* Identify, value, and manage variations and change control

* Handle contract administration (JCT and NEC)

* Support senior commercial leadership with strategic input and risk management

* Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and suppliers

What We're Looking For:

* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (or qualified by experience)

* Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within a Tier 1 or large main contractor environment

* Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and commercial practices

* Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills

* Proficient in commercial software tools and Microsoft Office suite

* Organised, proactive, and team-oriented
