Principal Chartered Building Surveyor

This position presents the successful Chartered Surveyor with the opportunity to lead on key commercial surveying instructions, mentor junior professionals, and contribute strategically to the development of a respected and high-performing team.

The Principal Chartered Building Surveyor's Role
You'll lead the delivery of a varied workload focused primarily on commercial building surveying, including:
Technical Due Diligence (TDD)
Pre-acquisition surveys
Dilapidations
Planned Preventative Maintenance
Project Monitoring and Condition SurveysYou will work closely with clients to understand their commercial drivers, advising them through clear, concise and commercially minded reporting. This role will also involve supporting the growth of the service line, contributing to internal development initiatives, and mentoring junior colleagues.
The Successful Principal Chartered Building Surveyor Will Have
Qualifications
Degree qualified in Building Surveying or related discipline
MRICS Chartered – minimum 3 years post-qualification experienceExperience & Attributes
Proven track record delivering professional services within the commercial property market
Strong commercial acumen and client-facing confidence
Ability to manage multiple commissions across different stages
Committed to mentoring and developing junior colleagues
A collaborative and proactive approach to delivering work

£75,000 – £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
