Location: Lancashire based (nationwide coverage, primarily in the North)
Salary: Up to £50,000 (negotiable, dependent on experience)

About Us:
Our client are a well-established specialist contractor in flat roofing systems, including felt, single ply, and liquid roofing. Based in Lancashire, they deliver high-quality roofing solutions across the UK, with a strong presence in the North. Their team prides itself on professionalism, reliability, and a genuine "family feel" to the way they work together. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a dedicated Contracts Manager to join their close-knit team.
The Role:
As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple roofing projects from start to finish. You'll ensure jobs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent organisation, leadership, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all aspects of roofing contracts (felt, single ply, liquid, etc.)
Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and subcontractors
Ensure projects are delivered to client specifications and within agreed timelines
Monitor budgets, cost control, and site progress
Liaise with clients, site teams, and suppliers
Conduct regular site visits and inspections
Maintain health and safety compliance on all sites
Prepare and submit progress reports and documentation
Identify and resolve issues or delays efficiently
Requirements:
Proven experience in contract/project management within the roofing industry
Strong technical knowledge of flat roofing systems (felt, single ply, liquid)
Ability to manage multiple sites/projects simultaneously
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Full UK driving licence (essential)
