Architectural Technologist or Technical Architect

Salary £45k – £55k based on experience.

An established AJ100 Architectural Studio offering consulting, design, delivery, management and construction services have a newly formed position within their Architectural team for a Technologist, or Architect Technical strengths.

They are a friendly, enthusiastic and highly collaborative Design & Delivery practice who specialise in a variety of sectors. With a high profile portfolio of projects are complex and sustainable; usually in the UK with the occasional overseas exception.

With an in-house technical, design, and construction team who collaborate it allows the practice to independently take projects from start through to completion.

This is a great opportunity for someone with specialist experience looking to progress and become an integral part of an expanding team, you will get the chance to help develop a business whilst gaining more responsibilities to progress within the architectural department. You will work alongside an expert BIM team, sharing technical insights to support a variety of Commercial, Infrastructure and Technology projects across RIBA stages.

Your technical expertise will be crucial in delivering exceptional results, and your architectural experience will be valued over specific software knowledge.

The Role :

Will be working on across RIBA stages, with a key focus on actively supporting the BIM Manager with technical work.

Working in Revit. Producing technical and construction details.

Assisting the Architectural and BIM teams with Revit and BIM based project tasks, coordination.

Opportunity to take ownership and act as a lead on projects.

Ideal Experience & Skills :

Qualified Architect or Technologist with 5+ years of professional experience working in the UK, and practical industry experience with Revit + BIM
Excellent technical skills with demonstrable experience in highly serviced, complex project
Strong understanding of planning and building control requirements
Ability and flexibility to work across multiple projects to achieve set deadlines
Demonstrable hands-on experience of the required software
Friendly and conscientious, with strong spoken and written communication skillsEssential software – Revit + BIM awarness

Desirable software – Navisworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Photoshop, 3D Studio or similar
