Site Foreman

e are currently recruiting for an experienced Ganger/Site Foreman to support a major highways infrastructure project near Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a long-term, high-profile civil engineering scheme within a collaborative and safety-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervising and leading a small team on site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to specification.

*

Coordinating daily tasks in line with the programme of works.

*

Liaising with site management and subcontractors to maintain smooth workflow.

*

Ensuring adherence to all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) standards.

*

Maintaining accurate site records and completing daily briefings and inspections.

Essential Requirements:

*

SMSTS or SSSTS certification.

*

CSCS card (active and valid).

*

First Aid at Work certification.

*

Proven experience working in highways or civil engineering environments.

*

Strong understanding of site safety and ability to lead by example.

*

Ability to read drawings and coordinate on-site activities accordingly.

Desirable:

*

Experience working on National Highways or large infrastructure schemes.

*

Full UK driving licence.
