Job Advert: Project/Senior Quantity Surveyor – Social Housing Refurbishment & Maintenance
Location: London & Home Counties | Hybrid Working | Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 + Benefits

We are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 Main Contractor with a long-standing reputation for excellence in the social housing refurbishment and maintenance sector. With a robust pipeline of work and multiple projects currently live or in the PCSA stage, they are now seeking a Project to Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team.

About the Role

Internal refurbishment and planned maintenance

Projects are primarily located across London and the Home Counties, offering you exposure to high-profile, socially responsible work.

Key Responsibilities

*

Managing the commercial aspects of refurbishment and maintenance projects

*

Supporting pre-construction activities and PCSA processes

*

Conducting valuations, managing variations, and ensuring cost control

*

Collaborating with delivery teams and stakeholders to ensure commercial success

*

Contributing to ongoing frameworks and long-term client relationships

What We’re Looking For

*

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the social housing or refurbishment space

*

Knowledge of retrofit, SHDF, or cladding remediation projects is highly desirable

*

Ability to work across multiple projects and manage commercial risks effectively

*

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

*

Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

Work Environment

Hybrid working model: mix of site-based presence, home working, and occasional office visits (City of London or Hertfordshire)
