We’re working with a well-established regional building contractor based in the South West, who are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple live projects across Bristol, Somerset and Gloucestershire.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected name in the industry – known for delivering design & build projects in sectors including education, healthcare, commercial, and residential, with values typically ranging from £2m to £15m.
As Contracts Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the safe, timely and profitable delivery of 2–4 live projects, ensuring each scheme runs smoothly from pre-construction through to completion and handover. You’ll work closely with site teams, the commercial department, and key clients, acting as a senior leader in the business.
Key responsibilities:

Overseeing project delivery across multiple sites in the region

Managing and supporting Site Managers and project delivery teams
*
Ensuring compliance with health & safety, programme and quality standards
*
Liaising with clients, consultants and stakeholders to maintain strong relationships
*
Working with the commercial team to monitor budgets, variations and progress

You’ll need to bring:
✔️ Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager delivering multi-million-pound build projects
✔️ A background with regional or Tier 2 main contractors
✔️ Strong leadership, communication and client-facing skills
✔️ A solid understanding of buildability, commercial awareness and programme control
