Role Description:
As a Health and Safety Advisor, the successful candidate will ensure health and safety compliance on construction sites in Peterborough, and various sites within the Cambridgeshire region.
Key responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, investigating accidents, and creating and implementing health and safety policies. This role involves significant travel within the region.
Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Health and Safety in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations such as CDM Regulations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
* NEBOSH Diploma or NEBOSH Construction certifications, or equivalent
* Good IT skills
* Full driving licence and willingness to travel
* Minimum Tech IOSH
Skills and Experience Required:
* Candidates should possess a solid background in health and safety in the construction industry, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills.
* Excellent communication abilities are essential, both for writing reports and for verbal interactions.
