Electrical Supervisor – North London
Location: Field-based (primarily in North London)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours/week, Monday to Friday)

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead a team of electricians working across client sites in North London. This hands-on supervisory role requires strong leadership and a passion for quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You'll be instrumental in ensuring high standards of workmanship while fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily operations and team workflow, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Act as the technical point of contact, resolving queries and supporting staff with guidance and direction.

*

Coordinate closely with office-based teams to ensure alignment on project deadlines, materials, and team performance.

*

Monitor and manage van stock levels and ensure accurate materials ordering and booking.

*

Lead by example on-site, enforcing Health & Safety compliance and promoting a safety-first culture.

*

Oversee testing, inspection, remedial works and fault finding, ensuring compliance with BS-7671 standards.

*

Conduct quality inspections, workmanship audits, and ensure accurate completion of electrical certification and documentation.

Motivate and mentor your team while promoting a positive company culture and high standards of customer service.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

*

City & Guilds 2367 or 2357, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

*

City & Guilds 2391 in Inspection & Testing (or equivalent experience)

*

18th Edition BS7671 certification

*

Minimum 8 years of experience as a qualified electrician

*

Valid CSCS or ECS card

*

Full, clean UK manual driving licence

*

Proven leadership and team management skills

*

In-depth understanding of Health & Safety regulations and practical application

*

Strong communication and organisational skills

*

Competence using IT systems, tablets, and digital tools

Desirable:

*

Experience in the social housing sector

*

IPAF and PASMA certifications

*

First Aid qualification
