Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Support Technician to provide technical assistance across our organization. This role involves supporting end-users, managing hardware and software systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support and maintaining system integrity.
Key Responsibilities

Provide first and second-line IT support to users via phone, email, chat, or in-person interactions.

Log and categorize support requests using a ticketing system.
*
Assist with user account management, including password resets and access requests.
*
Document solutions and maintain knowledge bases for common issues.
*
Set up and configure IT resources, including PCs, laptops, phones, tablets, and software applications.
*
Ensure reliable and secure local network and internet connectivity.
*
Provide administrative support for systems and networks as needed.
*
Develop report templates and manage reporting applications and job management systems.
*
Conduct training sessions for staff on utilized systems and software.
*
Stay updated on technological advancements and assess their potential impact on the organization.
*
Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Adhere to company values and promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Candidate Requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 infrastructure, Ethernet networking, and security protocols.
*
Familiarity with various hardware, software, and Windows operating systems.
*
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
*
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*
Understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and security measures.
*
Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance.
*
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar IT role.
Compensation and Benefits
*
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum
*
25 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
