Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for a range of applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar)

Perform load calculations, circuit analysis, and component selection

*

Create detailed technical documentation including wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and test procedures

*

Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure design compatibility

*

Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, UL, ISO)

*

Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting

*

Evaluate design performance and implement improvements

*

Assist with cost estimation and project planning

*

Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

*

[X]+ years of experience in electrical design (adjust based on level)

Proficiency in electrical CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, etc.)

Solid understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and control systems
