Site Supervisor

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Site Supervisor to lead operations on a school construction project, with a particular focus on roofing works. This is an active school site, so a strong awareness of safeguarding, site safety, and communication is essential.
The ideal candidate will have experience in felt roofing systems, in addition to a solid background in general site supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

Supervise roofing works and general construction tasks on a live school site
*
Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain schedule and quality
*
Ensure strict adherence to safeguarding and health & safety protocols
*
Conduct site inductions, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
*
Report to the project manager with regular updates on progress and issues
Requirements
*
Valid CSCS card (Supervisor level preferred)
*
Enhanced DBS check (must be current and valid)
*
SSSTS
*
Previous experience supervising construction projects on live school or public-sector sites
*
Experience with felt roofing systems (preferred but not essential)
