Freelance Site Manager – 6 Month Contract (New Build Project)
Location: Aberdeen
Contract Duration: July – December 2025
Rate: Competitive, DOE
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a seasoned Site Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality new build projects? We are working with a well-established and respected construction business who are seeking a freelance Site Manager to join their project team for the final phase of a key new build development.

About the Role:

You’ll be joining a collaborative and experienced site team to help steer the project through to successful handover by Christmas 2025. This is a pivotal role that requires a confident and organised professional who can maintain momentum on-site, ensure quality standards are met, and help navigate the project through its final stages.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and to spec

Coordinate subcontractors and site staff to ensure smooth delivery

Maintain high standards of health and safety compliance

Monitor programme progress and assist in mitigating potential delays

Liaise with the Project Manager, clients, and consultants as needed

Assist in snagging and preparation for project handover

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar new build projects

SMSTS and First Aid certification essential

Excellent organisational and leadership skills

Strong communicator with a proactive attitude

Available to start immediately or within short notice
