Job Title: Facades Project Manager
Location: North London

Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Facades Project Manager to lead a major re-cladding project in North London. This long-term contract (minimum 1 year) involves managing the replacement of external cladding systems on a high-profile residential or mixed-use building. The project is part of a wider programme to ensure buildings meet current fire safety and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day delivery of façade works, ensuring quality, safety, and programme targets are met.

*

Coordinate all aspects of the façade installation, including scaffolding, removal of existing cladding, installation of new systems, and final finishes.

*

Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure design and installation align with project specifications.

*

Lead project meetings, report on progress, and resolve on-site issues efficiently.

*

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, particularly around public access and high-risk work areas.

*

Coordinate temporary works with engineers and ensure proper documentation is in place.

*

Oversee quality assurance processes and handover documentation.

Essential Requirements:

*

Proven experience managing re-cladding or façade replacement projects.

*

In-depth knowledge of façade systems, fire safety regulations, and remediation procedures.

*

BAPA (Building and Public Access) experience is essential.

*

Valid Temporary Works Supervisor or Coordinator ticket.

*

Strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills.

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/White), and First Aid certifications.

Desirable:

*

Experience on occupied buildings or working in live environments.

*

Knowledge of relevant regulations such as EWS1, NHBC guidelines, and PAS 9980.
