Gas Maintenance Manager
A commercial facilities maintenance company in Southeast England is looking for a Gas Maintenance Manager to join their M&E Department. This position, based in Greater London, reports directly to the Directors.
About the Role
As the Gas Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for a gas portfolio for a new client. This includes:
Managing accreditations and ensuring compliance.
Overseeing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
Reviewing engineer jobs, pricing, and quoting works.
Building client relationships and providing technical support.
Offering expert guidance to staff and clients.

Due to significant growth and new contracts, they are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled manager to join their expanding operations. Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
Relevant gas qualifications (e.g., HND, NVQ Level 3).
Proven experience in gas management, preferably in a multi-site or facilities management environment.
Strong knowledge of current gas regulations and compliance.
Experience with a broad range of gas-related systems (ducted vent systems, flue fans, gas fires, boilers, hot water systems, pumps, and controls).
A proactive "can-do" attitude and a desire for long-term career growth.
Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to adapt to new software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical skills in quoting, estimating, and budget management.
Familiarity with certification processes and compliance standards.
Proficiency in maintenance management software and scheduling tools.
Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
