CAD Designer – Glazing

Job Title: CAD Designer – Curtain Wall & Aluminium Systems
Location: Dartford
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 (Depending on Experience)

We are currently seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join our team based in Dartford. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in curtain walling and aluminium façade systems (Ali systems) to contribute to high-profile construction and architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for curtain walling, windows, doors, and aluminium systems.

Work closely with project managers, architects, and fabrication teams to deliver precise and accurate design solutions.

Interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop workable system solutions.

*

Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.

*

Provide technical support and guidance throughout the design and production process.

*

Maintain accurate records and drawing registers for all design work.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a CAD Designer in the curtain walling and aluminium façade sector.

*

Strong knowledge of Ali systems and curtain wall design principles.

*

Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or other 3D software is an advantage.

Good understanding of construction processes and building regulations.

*

Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

*

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
