The company specialises in delivering high-quality electrical, mechanical, fire alarm, and data solutions. Currently, their focus is on expanding the Kent office, which has a full order book and a strong pipeline of projects, offering excellent opportunities for growth and development.

About the Role:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for a variety of electrical projects ranging from £50K to £1.5 million. Your work will involve assessing project requirements, preparing bids, liaising with suppliers and subcontractors, and ensuring that all estimates meet compliance and safety standards. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects while working collaboratively with the commercial and delivery teams to support successful project delivery.

Requirements

* At least 5 years’ experience and relevant trade qualifications

* Proven track record estimating electrical projects ranging from £50K to £1.5 million

* Experience with projects varying from small shop fit-outs to larger commercial Cat A/B offices

* Clean or near-clean driving licence required

* Ability to work under own initiative, be self-motivated, and a strong team player

* Must hold a CSCS card and be conversant with BS 7671, BS 5266, BS 5839, and City & Guilds 2391 requirements

* Familiarity with estimating software is desirable; experience with SES Cypher1 is ideal

* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

* Office-based at our Rainham location in Kent; ideally within a 40-minute door-to-door commute
