About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Registered Building Inspector to join our professional team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be a key part of ensuring building safety and compliance on a wide range of projects across the UK. The ideal candidate must hold Class 2 or Class 3 registration under the Building Safety Regulator’s registration framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out site inspections to assess compliance with the Building Regulations and approved plans.

Provide professional advice and technical guidance to clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Produce clear, accurate, and timely inspection reports and maintain records in accordance with regulatory requirements.

*

Liaise with local authorities, developers, and design teams to resolve any compliance issues effectively.

*

Support and uphold building safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement in regulatory practices.

*

Stay updated on changes to building legislation, technical guidance, and best practices.

Requirements:

*

Registered with the Building Safety Regulator as a Class 2 or Class 3 Building Inspector.

*

Proven experience working in building control or a similar regulatory role.

*

Strong knowledge of the Building Regulations, technical standards, and construction practices.

*

Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

*

Strong attention to detail and the ability to make sound, defensible decisions.

*

Full UK driving licence (if travel to site is required).
