Architectural Technologist

With a network of over 200 professionals across 9 offices and a turnover exceeding £20 million, this employee-owned practice continues to grow through its commitment to design excellence, collaboration, and client-focused delivery.
Their Huddersfield studio is now seeking a skilled and motivated Architectural Technologist to join its expanding technical team. Known for its vibrant, supportive culture and high-profile project work, the studio offers the ideal environment for a technologist who's looking to develop within a forward-thinking, quality-led consultancy.
The practice delivers award-winning projects across a wide range of sectors including education, residential, healthcare, commercial, transport, and leisure. Notably, their current pipeline includes a significant Ministry of Justice (MOJ) project, therefore, an interest in or previous experience working within the justice and secure environments sector is essential.
Architectural Technologist Job Overview
Produce detailed design and technical drawings, including comprehensive tender and construction packages
Take a lead role in coordinating technical information across project teams
Liaise directly with clients, consultants and statutory authorities
Contribute to the delivery of projects ranging in value up to £5 million and beyond
Work daily in Revit to deliver technically robust and BIM-compliant solutions
Architectural Technologist Job Requirements
Based within commuting distance of Huddersfield
Degree qualified in Architectural Technology (CIAT accreditation desirable)
Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience in a UK-based practice
Strong proficiency in Revit (professional experience essential)
A proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and within a team
Interest or previous experience in the justice and secure environments sector
Full UK Driving Licence
Architectural Technologist Salary & Benefits
Salary up to £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
