The Role
The require a Project Manager with Structural Alterations experience for a project in London. Your role will involve;

* Provide day to day single point of contact for client Project Delivery team on all aspects pertaining to the assigned project.

* Develop Roles and responsibilities of Project team with Contracts Manager.

* Managing the Project teams and allocating tasks.

* Provide day to day direction of project team.

* Ensure delivery is in accordance with agreed time and financial targets.

* Ensuring Record Keeping allocation sheets are maintained to the correct standard.

* Design IRS management and reporting of client performance is being issued weekly.

* Resource lookaheads – Labour, Plant and Material are being managed and aligned with financial targets.

* Material and Plant procurement.

* Selecting subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the project meets quality standards and goals.

* Project progress reporting is carried out on a regular basis in line with Project requirements

* Identify and escalate critical issues in line with contract notification process as required.

* Regular review and checks of all project processes, ensuring audit compliance.

* Develop Safe systems of works and associated RAMS paperwork.

* Review and Sign off RAM

The Requirements

* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Main and / or Sub-contractor in Structural Alterations and Demolition.

* A thorough understanding of the construction industry, including its practices, regulations, and standards specific structural alterations and demolition

* A good understanding of design management and processes to ensure a smooth transition from Riba stage 4 stage to 5.

* A good understanding of contract law, including standard forms of contract (JCT and NEC)

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in use of Project Management software reporting e.g. Asta
