MEICA Manager
Elvet Recruitment are recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of a main contractor working on the AMP8 Northumbrian Water Framework.
The role itself will require indepth knowledge and experience on MEICA sysems on water and waste water schemes. The position presents an opportunity to work with a leading name in the industry, with work in the North East for the next 6-8 years.
Main Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the delivery of utilities to ensure alignment with programme constraints.
* Managing pre-construction activities and deliverables related to MEICA subcontractors, including interface coordination.
* Ensuring seamless integration and coordination with other design disciplines, while demonstrating strong commercial awareness.
* Promoting and upholding high standards of health and safety throughout project execution.
* Managing technical approvals to ensure compliance, timely acceptance, and efficient procurement processes.
* Monitoring and driving progress to ensure MEICA-related programme milestones are met.
* Providing technical support to site teams on all aspects of MEICA subcontract works.
* Ensuring installation quality meets contractual and regulatory standards.
* Regularly reporting on KPIs to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Ensuring timely commissioning of systems in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
* Preparing and presenting all MEICA-related documentation required for successful project handover.
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with supply chain partners.
* Demonstrating a proactive commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery.
Experience/Qualifications Required:
* Holds a relevant qualification (Degree or HND) or has time-served experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
* Capable of working independently with a strong focus on achieving results.
* Sound knowledge of MEICA systems, with experience in water and wastewater sectors.
* Possesses a valid UK manual driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.
Remuneration:
On offer is a salary of up to £80,000 (DOE) plus package
