Construction Assurance Manager Rail
Are you a construction professional with hands-on experience delivering major civil engineering works?
Do you have a solid understanding of NEC3 contracts?
Salary: £48.900 to £65,514
Location: Coleshill (up to 5 days on site per week)
Deadline for applications: 18th July
I am looking for a Construction Assurance Manager to support on a key segment of the HS2 route. This section includes civil engineering works such as embankments, large-scale earthworks, RC structures, and motorway crossings via major steel structures.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a site-heavy background to step into a critical role focused on construction assurance – ensuring contractors are doing what they’re meant to do, identifying potential risks early, and supporting safe and efficient delivery.
You’ll be reporting on progress against the NEC 3 contract and playing a key part in a team reshaping the delivery model toward a more construction management-led approach.
Essential Requirements:
Extensive experience on site within heavy civils – earthworks, groundworks, RC structures, bridges, etc.
Clear understanding of NEC3 contracts – assurance, reporting, and contract compliance.
Practical knowledge of CDM regulations and a proactive approach to construction safety.
On-site construction delivery experience.
Experience building relationships and engaging with contractors, internal teams, and third parties.
This is a one-stage interview process, conducted via Teams. Please note, candidates must demonstrate real-world site delivery experience – not just theoretical understanding
