Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Frameworks (High Volume, Low Value Projects)

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 (DOE) + Package
Overview:
On behalf of our client, a worldwide leader in workplace design and delivery, we are seeking a proactive and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to support the successful delivery of a major framework programme. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of high-volume, low-value projects across sectors including hospitality (popular hotel chains), leisure facilities, and commercial environments. The Quantity Surveyor will ensure financial performance, contractual compliance, and value optimisation across a dynamic, multi-site workstream.

Key Responsibilities:
*
Manage the commercial and financial aspects of multiple small-scale projects delivered under national framework agreements.
*
Projects may include refurbishments, fit-outs, and minor works across hotel chains, leisure facilities, and commercial premises.
*
Prepare and manage applications for payment, final accounts, and cost forecasts.
*
Lead procurement and commercial administration of subcontractors, including tendering, contract negotiation, and valuations.
*
Ensure consistent project delivery aligned with agreed KPIs and service levels across various client sites.
*
Identify and manage project variations, ensuring timely submission and agreement of compensation events.
*
Liaise effectively with clients, project teams, and subcontractors to maintain transparency and drive best value.
*
Support the preparation of monthly commercial reports and participate in performance reviews.
*
Contribute to risk mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with contractual and company governance.
Skills & Experience Required:
*
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field, or equivalent commercial experience.
*
Experience delivering high volumes of low-value projects under framework or term maintenance contracts.
*
Familiarity with hotel, leisure, or commercial fit-out environments is highly advantageous.
*
Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g., NEC, JCT).
*
Commercially aware, detail-oriented, and highly organized with excellent time management.
*
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
*
Competent in Microsoft Excel and familiar with commercial management platforms (e.g., COINS, Causeway).
Desirable:

Chartered or working towards chartership with RICS, CIOB, or equivalent.

Experience working within hospitality or leisure fit-out projects under national frameworks.
*
Understanding of client performance metrics and reporting structures in a multi-site environment
