Senior Quantity Surveyor

The Company:

We are working with the North West Regional office of a Tier 1 Building Contractor who are well established in the North West, are active in a number of market sectors including; education, health, retail, leisure, residential, commercial, blue light and industrial.

They procure work through many of the key public-sector frameworks and also work with a number of large private sector developers.

The Role:

They would like to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor to help them deliver a large, £multi-million, new build school based in Greater Manchester.

The scheme is due to start on-site in the New Year so they’re looking for someone to join them later this year to take the scheme through preconstruction and through to handover and final account settlement.

Initially, you’ll be based in their office then site based from early 2026 – their team can work from home for some of the week and they’re happy to accommodate folk doing the drop offs and pick ups so starting early or late isn’t a problem for them. They treat their team like adults.

You:

They would like to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or a Project Quantity Surveyor who’s ready to take the step-up, with a good track record of working in a similar role for a main building contractor.

You will be based in or be able to commute to the North West of England daily.

You will be IT literate and have an excellent knowledge of Construction Contracts.
