About the Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in the delivery of construction and infrastructure projects, supporting cost control, procurement, and commercial decision-making from concept to completion. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts

* Support procurement, tendering, and contract negotiations

* Administer contracts (JCT/NEC) and manage commercial risk

* Conduct valuations, manage change control, and assess variations

* Provide cost advice and value engineering input at key project stages

* Prepare and settle final accounts

About the Requirements

* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field

* MRICS qualified or actively working towards chartership

* Proficient in pre- and post-contract cost management

* Strong understanding of UK construction contracts and procurement

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

* A team player with a proactive, client-focused mindset
