Overview:
We’re recruiting on behalf of a reputable fit out contractor delivering a £300K Cat B office fit out in Guildford. They’re looking for an experienced No.1 Site Manager to take the lead on site and drive the project to successful completion.

This is initially a 7-week freelance contract with a genuine opportunity to go permanent if performance and team fit are strong.

Key Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for day-to-day site operations

*

Managing subcontractors, programme, quality, and logistics

*

Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards

*

Liaising with clients, consultants, and head office teams

*

Maintaining site documentation and weekly reporting

*

Delivering a high-quality finish on time and on budget

Requirements:

*

Proven experience delivering Cat A/B commercial fit out projects

*

SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS – mandatory

*

Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills

*

Confident managing trades and pushing programme

*

Available to start end of July and able to commute to Guildford
