About the Role
Our client is looking for a quantity surveyor who will be responsible for helping to estimate costs, quantities, and project timelines and providing this information to clients. You will be liaising with a variety of other teams and helping to keep a project on track.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
* Manage financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
* Provide accurate cost planning, value engineering, and financial reporting
* Liaise with stakeholders including clients, contractors, and consultants
* Monitor project progress and assist in resolving any commercial issues
* Support senior team members and contribute to the development of best practices
About the Requirements
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* 2–5 years of relevant experience in a consultancy or contractor environment
* Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
* MRICS qualification or progress toward chartership is advantageous
