Astute's Power Team are currently recruiting a Site Supevisor to work alongside the Overall Site Manager for a 33KV BESS site with a Substation based in Aberdeen on a 8 months basis from Mid-August. The Site Supervisor must have an Electrical HV background.

The Site Supervisor position comes with an day rate from £400.00 to £450.00

Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

Oversee daily site operations for the construction and installation of a new-build BESS facility, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project timelines.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to ensure all work aligns with engineering drawings and specifications.
Supervise on-site health and safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce compliance with HSE regulations.
Monitor progress against project schedules and report updates, risks, and delays to the Project Manager.
Ensure proper installation and commissioning of battery systems, inverters, transformers, and associated electrical infrastructure.
Liaise with DNO/ICP teams and manage activities related to the grid connection works and associated switchgear.
Maintain detailed site records including daily logs, inspections, deliveries, and incident reports??????.
Support commissioning and handover processes by coordinating testing, snagging, and documentation activities.
Must have experience working on BESS facilities as a Site Supervisor or Site Manager.
Hold a valid SSSTS cert

Aberdeen
£400.00 to £450.00 per hour (Outside IR35)
Immediate start date
8 months
