Hill McGlynn, specialists in construction and property recruitment, are proud to be working in partnership with a respected Construction Consultancy based in Maidstone, currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to work across a diverse range of projects in the private and public sectors, providing expert cost management and consultancy services.

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering cost management, procurement advice, and contract administration services for clients. You will work across all project stages, from feasibility through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation

* Providing procurement and contract advice to clients

* Conducting valuations, variations, and final account negotiations

* Managing cost control and project financial reporting

* Working closely with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

* Supporting project teams across a range of sectors

Ideal Candidate Profile:

* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy or client-side environment

* Strong understanding of cost management and contract administration

* Excellent communication and client-facing skills

* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

* Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
