Job Title – Project Manager
Salary – £300 – £380 per day CIS
Duration – 16 week project FTC
Location – Norwich
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development of a unique commercial project in Norwich. This innovative project aims to create a dynamic community hub close to the City Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include:
Managing all project phases and ensuring timely delivery.
Meeting with contractors, obtaining quotes, and developing project execution plans.
Implementing value engineering and closely monitoring budgets.
Recruiting and managing contractors to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
Enforcing quality control standards and maintaining high workmanship.
Upholding strict Health and Safety compliance on-site.
Providing leadership to on-site teams and contractors.
Managing unforeseen delays efficiently.
Assisting with procurement and logistics in alignment with project schedules.
Maintaining accurate project records and fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external teams.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience leading site-based construction projects (as Project/Construction Manager).
Preferably MRICS or other property qualifications in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
SMSTS, CSCS/CSR, First Aid at Work, and COSHH accreditations are advantageous.
Possession of a full UK driving license and access to your vehicle.
Proficiency in sourcing and managing contractor relationships.
Strong numerical acumen, organisational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
Ability to adapt to innovative property management approaches and company culture.
Excellent interpersonal skills for client-facing responsibilities.
