Technical Co-Ordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Coordinator to support the design and delivery of a high-quality residential project located in Wembley. The successful candidate will act as the key liaison between design consultants, contractors, and internal project teams, ensuring timely coordination and technical resolution across all stages of the construction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:

Design Coordination: Manage and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP designs to ensure compliance with planning, building regulations, and project specifications.

Document Control: Oversee the timely production and distribution of technical drawings, specifications, and reports.

Consultant Liaison: Work closely with external consultants, including architects, engineers, and planning authorities, to ensure coordinated and practical design solutions.

Buildability Review: Assess drawings for buildability, compliance, and clash detection; provide feedback and propose improvements to mitigate risks.

Technical Queries: Address and resolve technical queries from site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.

Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures through technical solutions without compromising quality or compliance.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant statutory and regulatory requirements (Building Regulations, NHBC, fire safety, etc.).

BIM & CAD Oversight: Support digital modeling and drawing production workflows as needed.
Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in a similar role, preferably on residential or mixed-use developments in the UK.

Education: Degree or HNC/HND in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, or a related field.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, planning process, and construction methods.

Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (desirable), Microsoft Office, and document management systems (e.g., Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite).

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, problem-solving approach.

Organisation: Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
