What We're Looking For:
* A degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
* A solid understanding of construction principles (restoration/refurbishment knowledge is a plus)
* A keen interest in restoration and conservation projects
* A highly motivated, proactive, and dynamic approach to work
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
* Leadership potential and sound problem-solving abilities
* Previous project management experience is advantageous but not essential
* A positive, solution-focused mindset
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Advising clients throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to completion
* Assisting with site management to ensure health & safety, staffing, and materials are effectively managed
* Overseeing project delivery to meet quality and programme targets
* Monitoring and reporting on cost variances against budgets
* Coordinating with engineers, architects, and other third parties to ensure project success
* Supervising sub-contractors and managing site teams
* Preparing valuations and final accounts
* Handling administrative, scheduling, and project-related tasks
* Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are fully understood and implemented on-site
* Occasionally supporting other departments as required to meet business needs
