Resident Liaison Officer – Social Housing Responsive Repairs

Temp to perm contract

£19.05 per hour Umbrella pay + company van and fuel card (Or option to use own vehicle)

We are currently seeking a Resident Liaison Officer to join our team delivering a busy responsive repairs contract in the social housing sector. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for excellent customer service, strong administrative skills, and experience working within social housing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the key point of contact between residents and the contractor.

Liaise with tenants before, during and after works are carried out to ensure smooth communication and minimal disruption.

Attend site visits and meet with residents face-to-face to resolve concerns and manage expectations.

Maintain accurate records using Excel, Word, and internal systems.

Work closely with operational teams to coordinate repairs and resident communications.

Manage appointments and resident queries in a timely, professional manner.

Requirements:

Previous experience working as a resident liaison officer in social housing – essential.

Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing communication skills.

UK Driving Licence – essential.

Ability to balance office-based duties with on-site resident visits.
