Senior Quantity Surveyor

An established and highly respected Chartered Quantity Surveying consultancy is seeking an experienced and independent Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their small but thriving team based in York. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor looking for greater autonomy and long-term progression towards Partner/Director level.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor Role

The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the Managing Director, who founded the consultancy in 1999. You will be involved in delivering a varied portfolio of projects ranging in value from £250k to £10m across multiple sectors including:

Bars, pubs and restaurants
Retail fit-outs
Industrial sheds and distribution centres
Private residential developments
Office new builds and fit-outs
Education schemes (private and further education)The consultancy operates on a flexible hybrid working model, offering a highly autonomous environment ideal for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who enjoys managing their own workload while contributing to a collaborative team.

The Senior Quantity Surveyor – Requirements

RICS Accredited degree (ideally BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying)
MRICS ideally but not crucial
Previous Quantity Surveying experience in a UK Consultancy/PQS firm is a MUST
Strong pre and post contract experience
A successful track record leading projects from inception to completionIn Return?
