Building Surveyor
A well-respected Construction Consultancy with a strong presence across London and the South East, particularly within the public sector, are keen to speak with an experienced Building Surveyor looking to join their Sidcup office.

The Building Surveyor's Role
Working across a wide variety of schemes within the education, residential and community sectors, the successful Building Surveyor will take ownership of projects from inception to completion.
You will be involved in producing detailed specifications, schedules of work, tender documentation, and undertaking Contract Administration and Employer's Agent duties. You'll also carry out building condition and measured surveys, defect analysis, and submit planning and building regulation applications.
Experience in party wall matters, DDA audits, CDM regulations and AutoCAD would be advantageous.
You'll be supported by an established team of surveyors, and in turn, have the opportunity to help mentor junior staff and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of the practice.
The Successful Building Surveyor Will Have
Qualifications:
Ideally MRICS qualified (or working towards chartership)
A degree in Building Surveying or similar
A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a vehicleKnowledge and Attributes:
Experience with public sector clients and frameworks
Strong working knowledge of scheduling, specifications and contract administration
Familiarity with planning and building control processes
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
Strong team player with the ability to work autonomously when required
Proficient with AutoCAD (preferred)In Return?
£50,000 – £65,000 (depending on experience)
